Features
Ten tools. One model. One app.
Every feature works with the same data. Whatever you define for the shipping case applies on the pallet, in the truck and in the report.

01
Live pallet planning
The heart of the app: enter carton, pallet and limits, and JetPallet immediately shows the best layer pattern and every key figure.
- Grid, two-block, pinwheel, five-block, recursive rectangle and L patterns, plus intensive search and exact small layers
- Layer sequence identical, rotated 180° or mirrored – with minimum support, interlock score and column/interlock hybrid
- Overhang and underhang per side, tier sheets, edge protection, stretch-film estimate
- Key figures: height, weight, volume utilisation, centre of gravity; tipping warning as an estimate
- Label check: is the label readable from outside?
- Layer editor to the millimetre, with geometry check
- 2D view with dimensions, 3D view with selectable angle (up to 5,000 cartons), layer by layer
- Result status in three levels: geometrically checked, technically plausible, externally verified

02
Round goods
Not everything is square. JetPallet plans cans, pails and drums as upright cylinders with dedicated arrangements.
- Upright cylinders with diameter, height and weight
- Square grid, honeycomb with staggered rows and mixed variants
- Both directions are compared – e.g. Ø 100 mm on 1,200 × 800: 104 instead of 96 per layer
- Pallet, height, payload and tier sheets as for cartons, with its own PDF report
- Lying rolls, bottles and sacks are planned in mixed-item planning
03
Packaging design
Before the pallet comes the carton. JetPallet calculates from the product outwards.
- Shipping case from product size, count (1–1,000), spacing and wall thickness
- Ranked by outer volume or by products per pallet
- Stock-carton library (up to 20 per project), even partly filled, CSV import
- Optimise product dimensions (right-sizing) within approved ranges
- Dividers and partitions, trays and shrink packs, palletising flat blanks
- Estimate compression strength per McKee, also with inch values

04
Cargo space and vehicles
How many pallets fit into the semi-trailer, and are the axle loads right? JetPallet answers both.
- 21 sourced cargo-space profiles: containers, reefer, open-top and flat-rack containers, trailers, swap bodies
- Plan cargo space with 7 vehicles, from the 7.5 t truck to the 53′ US trailer
- Your own cargo spaces with load line, double deck (1–3 decks) and multi-compartment (1–5), exchanged as JSON
- Stack pallets on top of each other – you set the top load; no load-bearing proof
- Axle loads with axle groups split into single axles and balancing; limits per Directive 96/53/EC as a suggestion
- Multi-stop with loading sequence
- Cheapest vehicle by your costs: exact for small cases, otherwise marked as an approximation

05
Mixed loads
Different items, several customers, one truck: JetPallet packs mixed items into cartons and cartons onto mixed pallets.
- Up to 100 item lines, 500 units, 50 carton types and 1–100 stops
- Boxes, upright cylinders, trapezoidal prisms; bottles, sacks and lying rolls as an enclosing box
- Orientation, load-bearing and priority per item
- Delivery stops and consignees, pallets separated by stop
- Dangerous-goods warnings: ADR segregation, limited quantities, food separation (ADR 7.5.4) and IMDG segregation
- Item library with barcode recognition from photos (local) and CSV exchange
06
Load securing estimate
Roughly how many lashing straps does the load need? JetPallet estimates it – and tells you honestly where the estimate ends.
- Tie-down per EN 12195-1 as an estimate, plus direct lashing
- Headboard per EN 12642, side and rear walls as an estimate
- Re-evaluated after every delivery stop
- Register of securing materials and external documents with checksum (SHA-256), shareable as an evidence package
07
Reports and labels
Planning the warehouse understands: reports, labels and plans for everyone who works with the pallet after you.
- PDF packing report with report template (logo, company, A4 or US Letter) and optional cost page
- Packing instructions layer by layer
- Pallet labels A6 portrait or A5 landscape with SSCC as GS1-128 (only with your GS1 company prefix)
- Vehicle load plan with driver sheet in 47 languages
- Shareable HTML 3D plan and mobile loading view
- Build-up video layer by layer
- Print with ⌘P, share via the macOS share menu and context menu
- Actual-vs-plan record with up to 6 photos per pallet

Compare and calculate
Decide instead of guessing: JetPallet calculates variants, costs and scenarios side by side.
- Variant comparison with Pareto rating and weighted goals
- Cost per pallet and per product from your assumptions
- Save and compare up to four scenarios
- Compare stack heights
- CO₂e scenarios from your factors
- Reverse planning from product to vehicle

09
Import, export, automation
JetPallet fits into existing processes: import orders, export results and automate recurring steps with Shortcuts.
- CSV and XLSX import with saved column mapping, templates for SAP and WMS
- ERP order and ERP result as JSON to a schema
- Export profiles: WMS CSV, SAP-IDoc-style DESADV CSV, EDIFACT DESADV D.96A
- Carton positions as CSV/JSON; STEP, COLLADA, OBJ, USDZ, DXF and IGES
- Shortcuts (4 actions) and AppleScript (3 commands)
- Geometric robot sequence planning with CSV/JSON export
- PDF report and ERP result as a file straight into your shortcut
